Jake Brusha is a cinematographer, director and producer on a variety of creative projects, including small budget commercials, shorts, case study videos, promo videos and music videos. Primarily interested in making people and their business as marketable as they can be. 

 

Kerry Conway graduated from Loyola in 2011 with degrees in English-Creative Writing and Psychology. She's been a Scriptapalooza finalist and her film work includes PA gigs and Extra work on Chicago productions, such as Transformers 4and "The Steve Harvey Show." Kerry currently works in marketing, as a video producer for a software company.

 

Chris Davis graduated from LUC in 2010 with a double major in IFMS Production, and Visual Communication. After graduation he worked at Loyola to establish the WTC's Digital Media Lab, then he moved to Big Sky, Montana where he lived and worked for a few years, including projects from Nairobi, Africa and the far reaches of British Columbia's Selkirk Mountains. For the last year or so Chris has been based out of Boston with occasional work in NYC, but he always has his eye on the mountains. Madison Girifalco graduated from Loyola in 2011 with a major in communications. After graduating, she moved to Barcelona and assisted an independent writer/director. While abroad she helped edit and write a variety of feature length and short film scripts as well as shot the making-of for a feature length film HOOKED UP. After her work in Barcelona, Madison moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screen writing, where she began working as a development assistant to a TV/film producer. Madison currently works as an assistant while pursuing other writing projects as well as illustration and graphic design. 

 

Andrea Green graduated with a BA in English and a concentration in International Film and Media Studies from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. Originally from Knoxville, TN, she moved back to the south in 2012 to pursue a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which she received in May 2014. As a student, she focused on digital librarianship and preservation, with her masters research concerning the preservation methodology and issues involved in Online Collaborative and Interactive Film and Media Projects. Currently working as the Community Digitization Project Manager for the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center (NCDHC), Andrea supervises and coordinates the digitization of a variety of historical materials from North Carolina cultural heritage institutions - including born digital items, scrapbooks, photographs, slides, newspapers, clothing, and maps. Lizzie Hoffman is a 2014 International Film & Media Studies program graduate. Channeling her passion for all things internet & social media into something more productive than hours spent in the Tumblr tag abyss, Lizzie currently works as Social Media Manager/Marketing & Promotions Coordinator at AGATI Furniture in the West Loop. Most days you can find her on her endless search for the best taco joint in the city or looking for a new French movie to obsess over.

 

Lauren Krause is a communication specialist within University Marketing & Communication. She is responsible for managing alumni social media channels, e-communications, web development and strategy, and other special projects and initiatives pertaining to the Loyola Magazine, alumni and advancement. Lauren is a Cleveland native and a graduate of the School of Communication (BA '10). Prior to Loyola, Lauren worked as an editorial coordinator for the Chicago Tribune where she focused on audience engagement and development. Currently, she freelances with the RedEye, a sibling paper of the Tribune, and writes a monthly column focused on fashion and shopping. In her spare time, Lauren manages a lifestyle blog called This Life Styled.

 

James Lagan (class of 2011) lives in NYC, where he works as an editor and motion graphics artist. Since moving to NYC, James has worked as an assistant editor on a number of television shows for Investigation Discovery and HGTV. He now works full time for the National Geographic channel, where he’s worked in post-production on shows like How to Survive the End of the World and the recent Nat Geo mini-series Eat: The Story of Food.

 

Lindsay Maher is a Loyola graduate who is new to the web and mobile game. She is a Communications major (music and psychology minors) who graduated with honors in the fall of 2014 and is currently working on deciding the start of her professional career. Lindsay is a native of Minnesota, but after four years in Chicago, she considers both places home. Besides a new found passion for programming, she is a music enthusiast and avid reader. 

 

Elisabeth Montemurro is a 2014 graduate from Loyola University Chicago's Masters of Communication in Digital Media and Storytelling. She currently serves as a Research Communication Strategist at Tribune Publishing. 

 

Sallyann Price graduated from Loyola in 2012 with a degree in English and international studies. During her tenure as managing editor of the Loyola Phoenix, the Illinois College Press Association recognized it as the state’s best non-daily student newspaper. She interned with HOUR magazine and Metro Times in her native Detroit and the Chicago Reader. As a writer and editor with Rotary's award-winning member magazine, she's written and edited long-form features and covered development initiatives on nearly every continent.

 

Molly Raskin has worked producing content for the websites of several, major Chicago-based publications, including The Chicago Sun Times and The Chicago Reader, since graduating from Loyola in 2012. She is currently the Advertising Operations Manager for Pitchfork, the well known, daily Internet publication devoted to music criticism and commentary, music news, and artist interviews.

 

Michelle Vega-Becerra, a 2010 Loyola SOC graduate and Miami native, is a Creative Producer at Univision– the 5th largest television network in the U.S. and the largest Spanish-language network– where she worked initially as a producer for their Sports Network, but now produces for the network’s entertainment division, producing campaigns for Univision’s telenovelas (soap operas).At the start of 2014, Michelle and her husband David also launched their own full-service production company, MDB Concepts. The Miami-based company produces events, photo shoots, and videos for corporations, weddings, charities, and more. This year, they look forward to spreading their talents throughout the rest of Florida, and collaborating with new organizations located across the country. Michelle is keeping very busy these days, especially with raising two puppies named "Peet" and "Caribou"... but she's enjoying every second of the ride!
